About Us
Our Story
Construction is one of the world's largest industries — and one of the slowest. Buildings are designed in software and built by hand, project by project, with no manufacturing discipline connecting the two.
Mori changes that. We convert architectural designs into manufacturing-ready files and factory-cut mass timber panels that assemble on site in days. Design to delivery, treated like a production process from the start.
Mass timber makes this possible. It's stronger than concrete, carbon negative, and unlike steel or concrete, it can be cut, prefabricated, and installed with the speed and repeatability that manufacturing demands. It's the material that finally lets buildings be built like products.
Our Mission
We need to build more homes — faster, and in the places people actually need them.
Mori's answer is to take the coordination and waste out of construction. By connecting design directly to factory fabrication, we deliver high-quality buildings faster and at lower cost than traditional methods. Mass timber makes it possible: a structural material that's carbon negative, faster to assemble, and precise enough to manufacture at scale.
We focus on multifamily housing, mixed-use, and civic buildings — schools, dormitories, community anchors — close to transit and opportunity. The places where density matters and quality can't be compromised.
What We Believe
The housing crisis is a complex problem — shaped by local regulations, fragmented supply chains, misaligned incentives, and a construction process that hasn't fundamentally changed in decades. There's no single fix.
But at the core of it is a production problem. The way we build is too slow, too wasteful, and too dependent on coordination that breaks down on every project.
Automation and offsite construction are how every other industry solved this. A car isn't assembled on the street in front of your house. A computer isn't soldered together at your desk. Construction is the last major industry still working that way — and mass timber is the material that finally makes the manufacturing model possible for buildings.
More homes. Better quality. Built where people need them most.
